My Time to Craft - Wings 'N' Things

When I went to the Harrogate Papercrafts Show on Saturday I bought some Kaleidascope ink pads and was itching to have a play and here's what I came up with for the My Time to Craft challenge. The inks were supposed to be pastel but they turned out brighter than expected and cannot decide if I like my creation or not.

I used a new rollergraph stamp which I also bought at Harrogate and stamped onto a circular die cut, this I folded in half, added some eyelets and ribbon and attached to the card. I stamped a Penny Black butterfly onto card, cut out and attached with silicone glue.
Sorry about the bad scanning.

I have done a card for Mother's Day and have enjoyed using papers as have been stamping mad lately. I am sure one lady on CSF will recognise her own artwork. Anice I am thrilled with the CD, thank you.

Sunday Stampers - Time

Again I have managed to cover two projects with this weeks challenge. I have created a fat page for the Sunday Stampers and a page for a challenge set by Nicky for me to use my BIA, I just need to make my mind up what I am going to do for my last page.

Again I have used Distress inks in marmalade and aged mahogany (my favourites) and stamped with Paper Artsy stamps. Thank you for taking time to look.

Tuesday, 19 February 2008

Have spent a lovely evening doing a card for a friend who is having a tough time at the moment and hope this fits the bill. I have used Stampin Up's Loads of Love stamps, and am making a mental note that I must get more of them. Water coloured the image with Marvy pens and added a few embellies.

Sunday Stampers Challege 4

Missed challenge 3 due to being on holiday in bonny Scotland but hope to catch up, I say hope.

The theme for this week was birds, so got myself into gear and killed two "Birds", (sorry), with one stone and completed the challenge and a fat book page for the Tim Holtz list on CSF.

I used distress inks in marmalade and aged mahogany, and of course Tim Holtz stamps, I used a touch of crackle paint also in aged mahogany, but try as I may I cannot get it to crackle. Hope you like and thank you for looking.

Sunday Stamper - Mono Chrome

Well what can I say, created a blog and now my first challenge and have loved doing it too.

The theme was mono chrome, so have had a rummage through my stash and this is what I've come up with. Please let me know what you think, huge thanks to Hels for setting the challenge.

I used black pearlised paper, spots and dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, also added a Cuttlebug ornamental swirly thingy a fabric flower over stamped with an Elusive Images background stamp, a touch of ribbon and a spotty brad.

February Tag Swap

Have been a busy bee today and created some tags using Paper Artsy stamps and this allowed me to get very inky fingers. I used Adirondack and Distress ink pads, and Adirondack paint dabbers. I used three different techniques, the first was the resist with paint dabbers, then the spritzing with heat sheet and ink pads, and the last was simple inking with Cut n Dry foam.

Birthday Fat Page

I am a member of a forum and have made a fat page for a forum friend on a birthday list. Am very excited as this is my first posting. Thank you for taking the time to have a look.
