Have been neglecting my blog, but this is only because I have been trying to catch up with all my birthdays, March is a bad month of family birthdays and celebrations. We have also decided to put our house on the market, so have been cleaning instead of crafting and have had Estate Agents poking around.

I am happy to say I have spent the afternoon doing two cards, one requested by my friend for a friend of hers first wedding anniversary, I have used Cuddly Buddly decoupage, which took me ages and have to be in a patient mood to do it. Sorry about the pic but the decoupage is six layers and the scanner has not picked out the background very well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The second, is my first Sugar Nellie, although I have had the stamps for a while, sound familar?

I have also used K&Co Hopscotch papers and DCWV cardstock and ribbon.

Hope you like them and lots of thanks for looking.

I was asked by a work collegue to make her a card for twins, which are to be born on the 20th March, she does make cards herself so am very flattered that she asked me and hope it's ok.

Love the baby feet and used my Cuttlebug to cut mount board for the circles, the paper is from a Crafter's Companion CD.

This card was an experiment, I wanted some self adhesive acetate to use with gilding flakes, Jennie from the Artistic Stamper kindly sent me a sample of some she had and this is the result. Sorry about the mucky marks still haven't cleaned the glass, too busy crafting!

Here's a few pics of when we went to Scotland in February. The Tower house where we stayed, the view from our bedroom window, walking and messing about on the beach.

I think Claire Louise should have received her " Me to You" swap, but have not seen her on the forum for a while. I have decided to add it to my blog.

It's my first attempt at a ickle book made with altered domino's for the cover and a stamped piece of card concertinered to make the pages. The folding was not very neat but quite pleased with my first effort. Hope Claire likes it.

Have had a lovely day off today and have reluctantly had to pack away as the natives are getting hungry. I have caught up with a few cards I needed to do, but still some to do.

This first one is an accordian album I have adapted into a card for my MIL, it also covers the My Time to Craft challenge for last week which was flowers.

Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers

Uhhh, ummmm, just thought I would say a few words to my new sisters, and some of the old ones too!

I am 39 married and have a 12 year old daughter, work full time and try to fit my crafting and blogging into the small amount of time I have left, which leaves me with more late nights than I should have, we all know what it's like when we get engrosed and just can't put our project down until it's finished. I look forward to lots of blog hopping, new ideas, challenges and lots of fun.

Some ickle ducks I did, am I a sucker? Have not been a big fan of CD's but these lovely farm animals sold it to me, and OH thought it was good value so who was I to look a gift horse in the mouth. He doesn't often encourage me to buy craft stash, but as you know, we don't need any encouragement.

Hello everybody, have woke up today with a stinking cold, wanted to craft this evening but just cannot find the motivation so thought I would update my blog with a few cards I made at the end of last week

The first two are done with new stamps I bought at the Harrogate show last week and was itching to play with. They are from Little Claire Designs and I fell in love with all of them but managed to restrict myself to four, am a bit miffed with the scanning of the little hedgehogs as must have something mucky on the glass, ummm, probably off my mucky hands.
