Have been neglecting my blog, but this is only because I have been trying to catch up with all my birthdays, March is a bad month of family birthdays and celebrations. We have also decided to put our house on the market, so have been cleaning instead of crafting and have had Estate Agents poking around.

I am happy to say I have spent the afternoon doing two cards, one requested by my friend for a friend of hers first wedding anniversary, I have used Cuddly Buddly decoupage, which took me ages and have to be in a patient mood to do it. Sorry about the pic but the decoupage is six layers and the scanner has not picked out the background very well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The second, is my first Sugar Nellie, although I have had the stamps for a while, sound familar?

I have also used K&Co Hopscotch papers and DCWV cardstock and ribbon.

Hope you like them and lots of thanks for looking.

I'm not sure I understand how the decoupage works...will you explain? I think the cards are cute! Good luck on selling your house!

Hi Tonya, decoupage is a sheet of the same images, but you start with the full image and cut it out, the next image will have something missing, you then use either foam pads or silicone glue to layer them up. Continue until you have completed all the layers. This gives you a three D picture, in the teddy bears I have done the balloons are more in the background further behind the bears and only have three layers, the boy bears head is most in the foreground and has six layers. Does this make sense?
